Vulnerable Populations Paper
The student will choose a vulnerable population and write a 4-7-page paper using the following guidelines. The paper must be in APA format and have no less than 3 resources cited within the reference list. At least 1 reference must be a current journal article.

1. Identify the population you have chosen and discuss its vulnerability.
2. How does this population fit into the definition of vulnerability?
3. What characteristics does this population have that increase its vulnerability?
4. Susceptibility, Exposure, Resilience
a. What problems is the population susceptible to?
b. What types of exposures does the population experience and how often?
c. What prejudices exist against this population?
d. What forms of resiliency does the population demonstrate?
5. Are there community programs (public and private) that might offer assistance? If so, what are they and are they accessible to this population? What barriers exist to prevent access?

Paper Length: 12-15 pages maximum (title page, abstract page, one reference page, and 9-12 pages for text). Additional pages will not be read.

1- Three of the primary Sources of Knowledge held during the 17th and 18th centuries were Continental Rationalism, British Empiricism, and Kant’s response to the rationalism vs. empiricism debate. You are to clearly state the main conclusion (thesis) of your paper regarding which of these three positions is most useful to nursing clinical practice.
2-The paper should compare and contrast Continental Rationalism and British Empiricism by evaluating the relative merit and/or lack of merit of each to knowledge discovery.
3-The paper should then describe, explain, and comment on Kant’s synthesis of these two divergent views.
4-Be sure that the premises that you make in your discussion of these three approaches clearly support your thesis.
5-Identify and incorporate a minimum of two articles that support your thesis. At least one article must emphasize a relevant philosophical topic that pertains to your thesis. The other article should provide a clinical exemplar that illustrates your position.
6-Next, anticipate that someone will disagree with your thesis and your premises. Counter these disagreements with arguments of your own reasoning and by using examples from your professional work, clinical practice, and/or doctoral education.
7-Write using simple and straight forward sentences. State clearly what you are going to do, for example “In this paper I will argue the thesis that …” ” “I will then support this thesis through the presentation of [state premises].”
8-Break each aspect of the paper into relevant parts. Use subtitles. Make sure that every sentence is connected to the one before it and makes a connection to the one following it.
9-Think of your paper as (a) a tool that you are developing to teach a class and (b) an argument that you must defend against others who strongly disagree with you.

When you are reading a case and preparing a case brief on it,the brief must include the following information(I will upload additional Materials). Here have TWO different CASE. please ONE PAGE FOR each case!

Using these three cases:
Tinker v. Des Moines School District, 393 U.S. 503 (1969)
Bethel School District No. 43 v. Fraser, 478 U.S. 675 (1986)
Hazelwood School District v. Kuhlmeier, 108 S.Ct. 562 (1988).

Reading commentary about the cases in the legal and popular literature is recommended. After reading the cases and related materials, write a paper in which you:

°Clearly state the First Amendment issue that runs through the three cases.

°Clearly trace the court’s rulings on the First Amendment issue, starting with
the earliest case and ending with the most recent (precedent-setting) case. After reading this section, I should know what the major points of contention were in the three cases and what the current legal standard is.

°In a third section, explain whether or not you agree with where the courts
have ended up on the particular First Amendment issue.

Your paper should be NO LONGER than five pages, double-spaced.
Lexis/Nexis is the place to get the citations for the paper. The cases should be the only citations. And use the correct page numbers from the case themselves.

Your original discussion post should be 200 to 300 words. Providing a personal association always makes a more interesting read—if you have direct knowledge of or experience with the topic, please include that. Also include hyperlinks to any online resources and/or citations for any hard copy resources that you used in researching your post. It should be structured as follows:
• Introduction of topic and thesis
• Opinion and supporting evidence
• Conclusion and questions for your classmates
Your replies (at least two) should be 20 to 100 words and add value to the discussion—either additional information or a different viewpoint. It should include links to any online resources that you used in researching your reply.
Grading will be a function of having posted your original discussion, and then commenting on at least two other posts.

Task
In this unit, we have examined the payment process in health care from both the provider perspective and the payer perspective. Some would say that the provider payment process we have nowadays adds a lot of cost to our health care system—without adding any value to patient care. As a health care manager, how can we address this significant driver of costs? Are there things that your organization is doing or could do to reduce this cost to the health care economy? Purpose:
The purpose of this research report is to apply sound scientific reasoning to an analysis of a relevant nutrition obesity-related topic. Consider a topic that is of interest to you that is relevant to the science of obesity. As you conduct your research it will be important that you consider the sources of your information and whether or not they are reliable and credible. There is a great deal of information on obesity, some of it reliable, some of it unreliable or misleading; and while the internet is a wonderful resource for research, it contains a tremendous amount of questionable and/or unreliable information that sounds science based but is not. Thus, it is very important you examine and establish the credibility of the research you use.
Description: There are four main parts of a research report and they are the introduction, body, conclusion, and reference page. You may provide an abstract although it is not required. • The introduction is the first paragraph and may be the most important part of the paper as it provides the reader with the intent of the report. It should state the main point or thesis statement that will be discussed in the report.
• The body of a research report contains the bulk of information. The body may be separated into three parts, including the experimental methods, the results, and a discussion. These three sections are not recommended for this short report.
• The conclusion will briefly summarize the information presented in the body and tie this in with the thesis statement in the introduction.
• The reference page includes all of the references you used and must consist of at least three credible sources. They must be cited in APA format and each one must have been cited in text (as per APA format as author last name, publication year) where the information was used.

Project Communications Management: Running Case

Directions: Complete the three tasks associated with project communications management. Put all your work on one word document. Separate your tasks by headings and/or page inserts. Remember… turn your work inon a word document as ONE attachment for grading.

NOTE: This is a continuation of the running case started in week three and continues through the rest of the course. Tasks based on this case are explained following the case study. These tasks will build on work done in previous weeks.

Project Communications Management: Case Study

Several issues have arisen on the Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project. The person from the HR department who was supporting the project left the company, and now the team needs more support from that group. A member of the user group that supports the project is extremely vocal and hard to work with, and other users can hardly get a word in at meetings. The project manager, Tony, is getting weekly status reports from all of his team members, but many of them do not address obvious challenges that people are facing. The team is having difficulty deciding how to communicate various project reports and documents and where to store all of the information being generated. Recall that the team members include you, a programmer/analyst and aspiring project manager; Patrick, a network specialist; Nancy, a business analyst; and Bonnie, another programmer/analyst.

Assignment – Project Communications Management: 3 Tasks

Prepare a partial communications management plan to address some of the challenges mentioned in the previous paragraph.
Prepare a template and sample of a good weekly progress report that could be used for this project. Include a list of tips to help team members provide information on these reports.
Write a one-page paper describing two suggested approaches to communicating with the hard-to-work-with user.
